Radix participates in conference for workplace ethics
Event, promoted by the Brazilian Institute of Law and Business Ethics (IBDEE), discussed ethical norms and procedures
Radix's comptroller and compliance manager, Fábio Lopes, participated in the "Law, Ethics and Anti-Corruption: Where are we and where are we going?" conference. The event was held to celebrate the Brazilian Institute of Law and Business Ethics (IBDEE) third anniversary. The conference saw eight presenters, who spoke about two topics: "the role of institutions in the fight against corruption" and "compliance in corporate vision."
Lopes discussed how anti-corruption culture is advancing in Brazil as compliance and ethical norms and procedures are being encouraged in the workplace. “This type of conference reinforces the need for society to mature the idea that we need to follow norms in accordance with laws, regulations, and ethics.”
Radix believes that it is fundamental to establish ethical practices in the employees, suppliers, and customers’ day to day activities in order to develop a society more committed to principles such as integrity and transparency.
IBDEE is a non-profit entity that aims to contribute to the integrity of business and entrepreneurs in the public and private sector. The event "Law, Ethics and Fight against Corruption: Where are we and where are we going?" took place on Friday, August 17th in São Paulo, Brazil.
