Radix launches technical and behavioral competencies training for students
Radix is launching the second edition of “Geração Desafio”, a training program focused on contributing to the education of students of computer science, computer engineering, and similar academic fields. The program features a modern and dynamic approach centering around the practical application of the technical and behavioral competencies needed to succeed in today's workforce.
The program consists of 16 hours of training on October 20th and 21st. The first day's training will focus on the soft-skills needed in job interviews and throughout the recruitment process. The goal is help students to reduce interview anxiety, foster creativity, and promote success within group environments. The second day's training will be technical, focusing on three technological areas Radix specializes in: mobile, cloud, and financial technologies. A team of Radix consultants and specialists will conduct these sessions, afterwards engaging students in a contest that combines all three of these technologies.
The first edition of “Geração Desafio” took place in March and focused exclusively on behavioral training. The event led to the recruitment of six interns, one of which was Pedro Vianna, a civil engineering student at Fluminense Federal University.
"Working with Radix has been my first internship, and I've really enjoyed it! The training program was very thorough, and it had several activities that helped me properly put my resume together and market myself to recruiters," said the 24-year-old student.
The event will take place in Copacabana, Rio de Janeiro. Pre-register at www.e-inscricao.com/geracaodesafio/2018 . The number of participants is limited - selection will be based upon field of study as well as other factors. This training will count towards credit hours and certification requirements.
