Training on the manufacturing process of fused flat glass is offered for Radix’ team.

Last Thursday (October 22), 10 employees from the business and operations areas were training on the manufacturing process of fused flat glass. This training is part of a company tradition of providing technical knowledge and professional development to its employees.
The focus of the course was to provide basic knowledge about this industry that gaining increasing importance in the clients' portfolio, with projects already established in Brazil and the United States.
Generally used in construction, automobiles, appliances, and decorative objects, fused flat glasses are considered today dominant in the world glass industry because they have almost no optical distortion.
During the training, the following areas of knowledge were addressed: raw materials and their properties; melting process (oven with fusion cameras – regenerators); tin bath and formation of glass thicknesses; annealing chest; detection of defects and quality failures; cutting and optimization; dimensions and packaging; storage and dispatch.
Also, this course was taught by consultant Lucio Xavier, who has more than 15 years of experience in the flat glass manufacturing market and currently holds the position of industrial director at Fareva, a French cosmetics company.
